DUTY HONOR COUNTRY
TO HONOR THE MILITARY, VETERANS AND FIRST RESPONDERS BY PREPARING THEM IN MIND, BODY AND SOUL FOR A LIFE OF PURPOSE THAT CONTRIBUTES BACK TO SOCIETY.
“WE FOLLOW THE INTUITIVE AMERICAN SENSE TO SERVE, PROTECT AND CARE FOR OTHERS.”
The American Warrior Association (AWA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring, aiding and supporting the Military, Veterans and First Responders who uphold the principles of our country and have chosen to unselfishly serve others and effect positive change in society. AWA recognizes that the American Fighting Spirit is a cornerstone in the cultural foundation of our Nation that continues to be a force for good and seeks to promote American values and the unselfish service to others and future generations. AWA also focuses on the preparation of transitioning Special Operations Forces (SOF) Operators (Navy SEALs, Army Green Berets, Delta Force, Army Rangers and Marine Raiders) and Combat Veterans for a civilian life of purpose while preparing them to “give-back” to their communities.
“WE ARE IN THE BUSINESS OF GEOMETRICALLY PROGRESSING GOODNESS IN SOCIETY.”
We focus on the nation’s warriors and unselfish servants by aiding them in mind, body and soul during their journey back from the longest war in our Nation’s history and daily service in our communities. Prolonged exposure to stress and physical duress in high-risk careers produces substantial wear and tear on individuals, marriages and families across the country. Over time, the cumulative strain magnified by occupational stress and exposure to trauma negatively impacts the mind, body and souls of our nation’s warriors resulting in extremely high levels of chemical addiction, mental illness, abnormal divorce rates and increased rates of suicide. On average, over 22 military and veterans commit suicide every day while 150 peace officers take their own lives every year. The mind, body and soul are the three pillars of life that holistically complete an individual. Each pillar needs to be strengthened, balanced and complete to live a healthy and full life of purpose that helps others and contributes back to society. AWA has designed specific programs under each pillar to prepare and aid the military, veterans and first responders for a life of continued service to others outside their primary duties.
